Xinhui Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park Provides Platform for Supporting Business Startups and Innovation

Gathering Cultural and Creative Resources to Support Entrepreneurship among Youths from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese Communities

艺术从来都不被定义。艺术的碰撞每天都在新会金盟文创园发生。11月18日，在JM画廊“熵·创作音乐会”上，华裔音乐家、作曲家梁嘉诚现场为美术作品作曲。这一别出心裁的音乐创作形式，让听众游走在音符与画笔之中，享受全新的视听盛宴。

作为中国（江门）“侨梦苑”新会园基地和新会台港澳侨青年创新创业中心之一，新会金盟文创园由台湾同胞郭建豪和郭建伟两兄弟创办，于2021年10月正式运营，占地面积约24亩，运营建筑面积近16000平方米。

“金盟文创园的英文缩写是‘JM’，和江门这座城市首字母缩写不谋而合。”新会金盟文创园副总经理郭建伟向笔者介绍，艺术是金盟文创园的底色，他们希望立足江门深厚的文化底蕴，积极发挥港澳台侨青年视野优势，聚集文创资源，助力青年创新创业，努力培育有新会特色的文创产业。

走进新会金盟文创园，随处可见艺术元素。无论是随处可见的大象雕塑，还是意识流画作，无不彰显着这一园区浓厚的艺术基因。郭建伟说，“该园前身是一家台资企业——江门市金盟模特儿衣架有限公司，主要向国际知名时尚品牌提供橱窗模特儿。近年来，企业抢抓粤港澳大湾区建设机遇，下定决心探索产业转型升级之路，通过对原来厂房的巧妙利用和改造，创建了全区首个文创产业园。”

现代感十足的金盟文创园的建筑风格以米黄色柔和色调为主，融合现代风格设计，处处透露出人文艺术的温度。目前，该园划分为四栋主要建筑物，A栋规划为商业办公和轻餐饮，B栋规划为文化创意工作室、市集、培训办公空间等，C栋规划为综合功能空间，打造成展览、发布会、分享会等场地租赁，D栋则规划为电商基地、阅读空间等。

自落成至今，新会书法家协会换届暨海内外青年书画艺术交流活动、新会博士工作站创业创新交流活动、澳门城市大学优秀博士生创新创业交流活动、江门市侨商总会青年会与江门市留学生联谊会头脑风暴座谈会等活动接连在该园开展。

钟文辉、马晨耀所经营的文礼红木家具有限公司，是最早入驻金盟文创园的企业之一。钟文辉是新会本地人，作为“80后”的他，因为家学渊源，对古典家具设计颇有研究。而马晨耀，有着台侨背景，对家具经营有经验。两人是好友，更是默契十足的拍档，设计的明式原创美学家具兼具艺术性和实用性，受到市场欢迎。“我们公司所设计的家具是比较具有年轻人的气息，恰好跟金盟的主题以及各方面的设计也是很完美的结合，而且金盟当时给了我们很多政策性的优惠，比如租金的减免、人才的引进等各方面都给了我们很大的支持。”马晨耀说。

接下来，金盟文创园将继续以“文创园区+产业+青年+文创专业团队”的模式链接资源、搭建平台，把港澳台侨、海归等各界青年的创意特长与江门传统产业相结合，服务江门文创产业提档升级，助力青年创新创业，加强文化交流。

Art is never defined. The collision of art happens every day at Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park in Xinhui. On November 18th, at the JM Gallery's 'Entropy · Creation Concert', overseas Chinese musician and composer Liang Jiacheng composed music live for art pieces. This unique form of musical creation allowed the audience to wander between notes and brushstrokes, enjoying a novel audio-visual feast.

As one of the bases of China's (Jiangmen) 'Overseas Chinese Dream Incubator’ in Xinhui and the Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center for Youth from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese communities, Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park was founded by Taiwan compatriots Guo Jianhao and Guo Jianwei. It officially began operations in October 2021, covering an area of about 24 acres with a built-up area of nearly 16,000 square meters.

"The English abbreviation of Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park is 'JM', coincidentally matching the initials of the city of Jiangmen,"introduced Guo Jianwei, the deputy general manager of the park. Art is the underlying theme of the park. Based on Jiangmen's rich cultural heritage, they aim to take advantage of the perspective of youths from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas Chinese communities, gather cultural and creative resources, support startups and innovation business of youth, and strive to cultivate a cultural and creative industry with Xinhui characteristics.

Upon entering Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park, artistic elements are visible everywhere. Whether it's the ubiquitous elephant sculptures or stream-of-consciousness paintings, they all highlight the park's strong artistic genes. Guo Jianwei said, "The park was originally a Taiwan-funded enterprise—Xinhui Jinmeng Model Clothes Rack Co., Ltd., primarily serving internationally renowned fashion brands with window models. In recent years, seizing the opportunity of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the company decided to explore the path of industrial transformation and upgrading, creating the first cultural and creative industry park in the area through clever use of and modifications to the original factory buildings."

The modern Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park is designed in a beige and soft color scheme, blending modern style design, exuding the warmth of humanistic art everywhere. Currently, the park is divided into four main buildings: Building A for commercial offices and light catering, Building B for cultural and creative studios, markets, training and office spaces, Building C for multifunctional spaces, used for exhibitions, product launches, sharing sessions and other rental spaces, and Building D for e-commerce bases, reading spaces, etc.

Since its inception, activities such as the general assembly of the Xinhui Calligraphers Association and the exchange of young calligraphy and painting artists from home and abroad, entrepreneurship and innovation exchange activities of Xinhui Ph.D. Workstation, exchange activities of outstanding doctoral students from the City University of Macau, brainstorming discussion between the Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Youth Association and Jiangmen International Students Association have been held in the park.

Zhong Wenhui and Ma Chenyao's Jiangmen Wenli Mahogany Furniture Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest enterprises to settle in Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park. Zhong Wenhui, a local of Xinhui and a post-80s generation, has a deep research in classical furniture design due to his family background. Ma Chenyao, with a Taiwan compatriot background, has experience in furniture management. The two are not only friends but also partners with great understanding. The Ming-style original aesthetic furniture they design is both artistic and practical, well-received in the market. "The furniture designed by our company has a youthful vibe, which perfectly matches with the theme of Jinmeng and its overall design. Moreover, Jinmeng gave us a lot of policy support at that time, such as rent reduction, talent introduction, and other aspects," said Ma Chenyao.

In the short future, Jinmeng Cultural and Creative Park will continue with the "Cultural and Creative Park + Industry + Youth + Professional Creative Team" model to link resources, build platforms, combine the creative strengths of youths from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, overseas Chinese, and returnees with traditional industries in Jiangmen, serve the upgrade of Jiangmen's cultural and creative industry, support youth innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthen cultural exchanges.
